Humor is a learning tool.
Statistics: If you torture the numbers long enough you can get them to confess to anything.
To me, investing is all about BEATING the market average. If you don't know how well your portfolio did last year compared to the market average, how can you judge your investing skills? You should beat the market most years, and if not, you need to learn more about how to invest. If you can't beat the market average, invest in index funds...but never managed mutual funds. -- Bob

The Quick Analysis form has AGAIN failed . . . and the Analyze the Annual Report tool as well. The data sources have been making changes to their website on a continuing basis. This time the change at MSN makes some data unusable. I will need to rebuild both spreadsheets and find a new source of 10 year data. Any suggestions of where to find 10 year data would be appreciated. Check back in a few days for corrected spreadsheets, but be patient. .
